In 1991 Happy co-founded HerdBuoys, the first black-owned advertising agency in South Africa. Since then, he has held several executive positions as Marketing Director for Vodacom, CEO for HerdBuoys McCann Erikson, CEO of Supersport and Group Chief Marketing Officer for ABSA. In 2016 Happy was awarded the Financial Mail Lifetime Achievement award and in 2017 the Marketing Person of the Year award from the Marketing Association of South Africa and with this vast experience supports CoActivate in all aspects of the Group.

A Charted Accountant and Entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience in Telcos. Roger started his career in the Investment Banking world of London but soon migrated to the rapidly deregulating Telecoms market, where he worked for two start-ups: First Telecom (early competitor to BT) and iAxis (provided Fibre access across the Transatlantic and Europe). After 8 years in London, Roger returned to South Africa where was the Contract Directed for BT across the AMET Region. After three years at BT, Roger co-founded Velociti, an 800-seater Call Center that was later sold to Blue Label. He subsequently co-founded LikeMinds in 2010, which has now been unbundled into Jabba Mobile (Prepaid SIM Distribution), CoActivate (Call Centre Services), IQAS (CC Quality Services) and 121talent (HRServices). Roger is currently the Group CEO.

Sharon is an MBA graduate and HR Professional with over 15 years HR, general management, and key account management experience. Before joining the business, Sharon spent 5 years as a key account manager and a further 5 years as the Regional GM for Quest Staffing Solutions, a division of AdCorp Holdings. While at AdCorp, Sharon was integrally involved in the development and implementation of capacity management and staffing solutions for the telecommunications, financial services, and retail sectors, with specific exposure to the Contact Centre and BPO industry.

Roland has 18 years of experience in the Contact Centre industry, including working as the COO of Velociti where he was responsible for over 500 staff. Having previously headed up IT at Velociti, Roland has an excellent understanding of the technical hardware and software requirements, including the ability to keep abreast with changes in technology that can materially impact Contact Centre operations.

Jo is a highly motivated executive with experience in the areas of business development, strategy and start-ups gained 10 years in the UK, Irish and Continental European telecommunications industry and 18 years in the business process outsourcing industry in South Africa. As Managing Director of IQAS (Pty) Ltd, Jo services multi-national financial services providers and telecommunications companies and supports the CoActivate group of businesses in marketing and strategic direction.
